Our Story
Yum Yubu was born from a dream that all started in the corner of Brooklyn. With over 10 years of experience as a sushi chef, our creative mastermind Ken was determined to bring a new and special narrative to midtown. Taking in his familiarity with Japanese cuisine, he established a fusion between Korean yubu and Japanese sushi, quickly taking the Manhattan food scene by storm. To stay true to his roots while catering to the people’s needs, he also wanted to offer a diverse selection of poke bowls that ensured appetizing and nutritious dining with healthier options, catering to all dietary preferences. His passion for his craft can surely be felt through his creations, combining healthy elements with delicious flavors.
